Dead Ends 03:25
The older I get The more I see Jesus Hiding in the little things, but yet The older I get The more I'm convinced Jesus doesn't exist And everyone's a hypocrite Self-righteous and full of shit The older I get The more I know I don't know Anything at all What can I say? I've got no words to waste anyway Unlike you Shouting loud, standing tall Not knowing, no one's aware At least not until you... It's all dead ends Forgiving and getting shit on again I wanna be lovers, don’t wanna be friends Because you’ll forget me Fall back into old habits Bad habits I could never kick I could never stick with the things That held me to you Where does the time go Changing my time zone Forgetting old friends Not making new ones Nothing I do Will ever prove to you I meant what I said Though it was a dead end It's all dead ends Forgiving and getting shit on again Don’t wanna be lovers, don’t wanna be friends Because you’ll forget me Because I’ll move on

Pinwheel 04:54
Washing the smoke out of my hair Cleaning the cancer from my clothes This scent is all-consuming I don't think it'll ever leave my nose See, all I know Is the feeling of waking up alone Endless thoughts on a long drive home As if I've got nowhere to go I'm always looking for somewhere to go Every time that I hit rock bottom, I find a new spade, and I dig 'til it breaks (I dig til I break) Every time that I need help climbing out You just walk away, you hide and I fade (you lied to my face) See, all I know Is the feeling of waking up alone Endless thoughts on a long drive home As if I've got nowhere to go I'm always looking for somewhere to go One thousand miles away from home Run until my soul starts bleeding Blowing like a pinwheel in the wind One thousand miles away from home Run until my heart stops beating Blowing like a pinwheel in the wind As if I’ve got nowhere to go I’m always looking for somewhere to go

It's freezing cold in Florida You don't believe me, you never do You've never felt the isolation Keep it up, and you'll know soon All my friends are dead as far as I'm concerned It's hard to navigate when you're unsure where to turn No one, nothing, everything all at once Overwhelmed sensations Overloaded touch You've never felt the suffocation Of drowning in a drop of dew All the little things in life Weighing down, crushing you All my friends are dead as far as I'm concerned It's hard to navigate when you're unsure where to turn It's freezing cold in Florida You don't believe me, you never do You've never felt the isolation Keep it up, and you'll know soon

Caffeine 04:06
I'm scratching my neck for caffeine Burning tongue and yellow teeth Been biting my nails and losing sleep There's nothing wrong with me I don't know why I love What I don't need I don't know why I love What I don't need I don't know my love I can’t get enough I feel you running through my veins Fight off the noises in my brain Slowly numb me of the pain Show the sun, and stop the rain I need you more than caffeine (need you more) I need you more than caffeine (need you more) I am not myself Without you every day I am not myself I know you need your space I am not myself I find you in the books I read My darkest fantasies Break the habit, leave me be Stay away from me I don't know why I love What I don't need I don't know why I love What I don't need I don't know my love

I said I'm sorry baby About a hundred times And I don't think I'm getting through I just need you to know It's nothing personal You said "there's something under your nose" I don't remember how it got there I don't remember much I think I'm losing touch And I can make this up to you if you let me I know I'm pushing my luck I know there's nothing more you want Than to go home Right now I'm the salt that’s in your wound But it'll close up soon And then we'll both forget You know I'm sorry, baby But I just need some time To get things straight in my mind You need to know It's nothing personal My eyes are swimming My mouth is numb And I think you might be that special someone (If that's the case, I want to take it slow) And I can make this up to you if you let me I know I'm pushing my luck I know there's nothing more you want Than to go home Give me one more chance to make this right One more night on the town Right now I'm the salt in your wound But it'll close up soon And then we'll both forget And I can make this up to you if you let me I know I'm pushing my luck I know there's nothing more you want Than to go home Give me one more chance to make this right One more night on the town Right now You're the liquor in my flask A personal personality mask And I'll be sober soon I thought I could hide In a world made for two Savored in my mind

about

Written over long distance phone calls during the winter of 2016-2017, our debut EP focuses on some of the issues faced by us when dealing with the growing pains of starting college, making new friends, and feeling distant from home. No matter how far we were away from each other, no matter how much was going on in our own lives, we didn't let anything prevent us from writing these five songs. We really hope this record connects with you, and becomes a part of your life the same way our favorite albums have become a part of ours. Recorded in June of 2017 with Jay Zubricky (Every Time I Die, Head North, Pentimento) at GCR Studios in Buffalo.

Thank You.
